This enterprise was listed in 1816 as a maker of fancy pen and sportsman’s knives in Eyre Lane. By the early 1820s, it was classed as a merchant, selling pocket cutlery and razors. The partners were George Robinson; Thomas Lamb; and George Arundel (who lived in Rockingham Street and then South Street). Thomas Lamb, Howard Street, died on 4 January 1824, aged 45.
