There is a potential connection of this manufacturer with a William Percy Love Vokins (1887-1965) who was enumerated in the 1939 Register living at 71 Chantry Road and is listed as a ‘Director of a limited company manufacturing cutlery spoons and forks’. His wife, Leone née Yates (1890-1956), was also listed as a director He was born on 27 December 1887 in Normanton, Yorkshire the son of Albert Thomas Vokins, a railway guard, and Caroline Agnes née Love. By 1901 the family had moved to Sheffield and were living at 243 Richards Road in Heeley.
By 1911 the family had moved to 158 Richards Road where William was listed still living with his parents two other brothers and a sister. He and his younger brother, John Love Vokins (1890-1989) were recorded as being table knife cutlers.

By 1939 John had moved to Bakewell, Derbyshire where he was working as a ‘gauge maker engineers fitter’.
William had married Leona on 19 June 1916 at Heeley Parish Church. Leona predeceased William, she died in 1956. He died on 30 November 1965 at 6 Warminster Road leaving £2,820.
