This partnership appeared in a directory in 1816. It manufactured pen and pocket knives in Solly Street. The partners were James Moorhouse, Thomas Rushworth – a pen knife manufacturer living in Red Hill in 1822 – and Charles Steel. It traded during the 1820s, but the partnership was dissolved in 1828. James Moorhouse continued to trade.
