This firm was a surgical instrument and respirator manufacturer, based at Terrace Villa, Upperthorpe, between 1868 and 1884. The owner was the son of the late Willoughby Marsden, surgeon, Dunscroft Abbey, Hatfield. John William Marsden died on 25 July 1885, aged 53.
