Thomas Bradbury Hague (born in Leeds, c.1848) was the son of Thomas and Ann. By 1856, he was living in Meadow Street. His father was a silversmith, basket, and toy dealer. Thomas Hague Sen. was dead by 1871, when his son was living with his mother and working as a cutler. In about 1873, he began business as a spring knife manufacturer in Holly Street. In 1881, he employed six men. His final trading address was Cambridge Street, where he marketed fine pen knives, toilet scissors, sport’s knives, and Bowies. T. B. Hague died, aged 44, at his residence Clarendon Villa on 17 June 1892. He was buried at Burngreave cemetery, leaving £1,344. Green & Green Ltd later acquired the name.
