Henry Copley
Born in Sheffield in about 1815, Henry Copley was a spring knife manufacturer, who was working in Solly Street by 1852. In the following decade, he was based in Suffolk Street. In 1881, he employed five men and two boys. By 1891, he had retired, and died on 29 June 1893, aged 78.
