Albert Williamson was born in Sheffield in 1837, the son of Charles Williamson and his wife, Frances. By 1861 was working as a horn cutter and living with his wife Jane in Pear Street. In the 1871 Census, he was enumerated as a table knife warehouseman – perhaps in his father’s business – and living in Alexandra Road, Heeley. In the Census (1891), he was a table knife cutler (employer), living at Chippinghouse Road. He died in 1900, aged 63, and was buried at City Road Cemetery on 15 November.
