This firm started as Sheffield Spoon & Fork Products, Rodgers’ Wheel, 61 Norfolk Street. It was listed in 1939, but after the war it was replaced by its ‘successor’, Spoon & Fork Products Ltd. The address was 108 Queen Street. The firm advertised in The Ironmonger Diary (1950) as a wholesale buyer and exporter of cutlery, cased goods, and spoons and forks. It marketed a full range of stainless (Firth-Staybrite), chromium, and electro-plate fish eaters, fruit sets, and all types of cutlery. In the following year, its location was Paradise Works, Paradise Lane. In 1951, Mary Brooks Robertson née Kelsey (1909-1982) was listed in the Sheffield directory as the director. She had married Henry Jackson (Harry) Robertson, who died in that year. During the late 1950s, the company moved to Gibraltar Street. S&FP was liquidated in 1980, when its office address was Anglo Works, Trippet Lane (see Edwin Blyde).
