This firm registered a silver mark (‘W R & Co’) in 1896 from Lion Works, 47 Eyre Street. Apparently, Rodgers marketed electro-plated spoons and forks, but Joseph Rodgers & Sons won a restraint order against the use of the name by the owners Thomas C. Wilson and William Rodgers (Morning Post, 1 November 1897). The firm folded, but Wilson continued to occupy Lion Works.
