Roberts, Gregory & Company
This cutlery and silverplate enterprise was not apparently listed in any Sheffield directory. Its details are, however, recorded in a dissolution notice at the start of 1797. The partners were John Roberts and Richard Gregory. Another partner, John Ardon had died (he had been buried at the parish churchyard on 26 January 1796), and was represented by his executors: Gamamiel Milner, William Bate, and William Justice. Later in 1797, Richard Gregory & Co registered a silver mark from Pond Lane.
