William Tankard
This lancet and fleam manufacturer was in Lee Croft (c. 1822-1829) and in Allen Street in the early 1830s. William Tankard, Watery Street, died on 30 January 1836, aged 42. His obituarist noted that he had taught in the Sabbath school in Lee Croft Chapel. John Howard took over the business.
