This firm was launched after the Second World War as a cutlery manufacturer of pen, pocket, sportsman’s knives, and Bowies at Alpha Works, Clough Road. One of the directors was Douglas Ian Robertson (1915-1981), Birkendale View. He had married Alice Tallon. In 1939, he was a cutlery manufacturer, residing at Hemper Lane (Register of England & Wales, 1939). In the 1950s and 1960s, the factory was at Standedge Works, Maltravers Street. It was struck off the register in 1967. Robertson died on 11 March 1981, leaving £4,514.
