John Wells
The Wells’ family lived in the Park district and specialised in fork making. John Wells (c.1777-1847), fork manufacturer, may have been the father of Charles Wells. In 1822, John Wells, skate and agricultural fork maker, was listed in Broad Street. Thereafter, John’s usual listed works and home address was Broad Street.
