Thomas Smith
Thomas Smith (c.1804-1886) lived in Shrewsbury Road by the mid-1840s. His works address, where he was a razor manufacturer, was Suffolk Works (presumably renting space from the main tenants, Thomas Turner & Co). By the 1860s, he was a razor maker and hafter at his home address: St Mary’s Road. He died there on 17 March 1886, aged 82, and his burial (unconsecrated) was in the General Cemetery). The grave contains the remains of his wife, Elizabeth, who died in 1860, aged 66. ....
