Perkinton Bros – a manufacturer of table, butchers’, and daggers knives – was formed in 1873 at 218 Solly Street by William Perkinton (1843-1925), George Perkinton (1847-1918), and John Perkinton (1848-1922?). They were the sons of William Perkinton and his wife Frances. In 1873, John withdrew and in 1880 G. Perkinton was formed.
