A pen and pocket knife maker, Thomas Milner was listed in 1817 in Pea Croft. He also manufactured brass bolsters. By 1828, Milner was listed as a maker of Spanish (dagger) and lock knives. His life is obscure. However, Thomas Milner, cutler, residing in Solly Street, was buried in St Peter’s churchyard on 30 December 1832. He was aged 63.
