Edward Colley Manico launched this business in about 1879 as an export house, selling table knives, forks, pocket knives, razors, and butchers’ knives. The office was Columbia Works in West Street. The trade mark was a mitre, similar to the mark of George Bishop. In 1881, the business employed 20 workers. During the 1880s, it moved to Toledo Works in Hollis Croft. But in 1887, Edward C.
