Ann Levick was listed in 1818 as a horn, haft, and scale presser in Pond Street. In the 1820s, she was also an agent for Hoddinott & Everitt, brass founders, of Birmingham. In 1836, Mrs Levick announced her retirement as a button, nail, and clasp manufacturer (Sheffield Independent, 12 March 1836).
