John William Keeton (1868-1957) was born at Handsworth Woodhouse, the son of a coal miner. He moved to Sheffield and became a silver cutlery finisher. He was listed in the directory (1911) as an electro-plate manufacturer, trading as Keeton & Co at Rodgers’ Wheel, Norfolk Street. He lived at City Road, Park.
