Albert Ibbotson (1876-1948) was the son of Joseph, a file forger, and his wife, Annie. By 1911, Albert was a spoon and fork filer (worker), who was living his wife, Eliza, at City Road. He was listed after 1919 as a spoon and fork filer in Bailey Lane. In the 1920s, he traded as Ibbotsons, a cutlery manufacturer and silversmiths, at Central Works, Bailey Lane.
