This scissors manufacturer was listed in 1919 at Reliance Works, Bolsover Street. An advertisement in 1921 emphasised its nail and manicure scissors. ‘Thompson’ is difficult to identify, but the other partner was James Fletcher, Upper Hanover Street. This may have been James Fletcher, scissors grinder, who lived in 1911 with his family (including a son named James) in Walkley Road.
