We believe this was Wilfred Clifton Finlay, born in 1902, the son of William and Beatrice.The 1901 census lists the family home at 66 Sellers Street and William, the father, is recorded as a table knife hafter/cutler and an 'employer'. Wilfred also became a cutler and the 1939 Register includes both father and son working as table knife hafters, still at Sellers Street.Wilfred died 21st October 1966, aged 64, living at Valentine Crescent, Shiregreen, leaving £2028 and a widow. ....
