Thomas Elliott (sometimes spelled ‘Elliot’) was a merchant and table knife manufacturer, who was first listed in Townhead Cross in 1816. The business then moved to Garden Street by the early 1820s (where a Thomas Elliot was also listed as grocer and flour dealer).
