Ann Pass listed in 1774 as a scissors maker at Cheney Square, trade mark ‘PASS’. Her husband may have been Joseph Pass, who became a Freeman in 1751 (he was the son of Joseph, a scissorsmith). Joseph Pass may have died in 1777 (a scissorsmith of that name was buried at the parish church on 31 October).
