William Wasnidge
William Wasnidge, haft presser, died on 13 December 1825, aged 79. Another William Wasnidge (c.1778-1865) – probably the latter’s son – was active in Pond Street as a haft and scale presser. He was first listed in 1818. The baptism of William Wastnedge (sic) was recorded at the parish church on 1 January 1779: the parents were William (a cutler) and Mary.
