Born in Heeley in 1856, this scissors manufacturer was the son of Charles Hall and wife, Sarah. Charles was an umbrella handle maker, then clerk to a scissors maker. Christopher established his business in about 1881 (according to a vanity publication, Industries of Sheffield, 1888).
