The partners – John Gillot, William Gillot, Thomas Ryalls, and William Ryalls – were razor manufacturers. In the directory (1811), the firm was listed as manufacturer of ‘improved and tempered razors’ at Duke Street. However, the partnership had already been dissolved in October 1810, when the address was Sheffield Moor. The subsequent careers of the partners is obscure.
