Forster’s was listed by the 1930s at Armada Works, Wellington Street, as electro, chromium, nickel and metal platers and polishers. The partners were Charles Andrew Forster (1897-1966) and his wife, Grace Forster, née Burrows (1903-1978). Charles was the son of Henry A. Forster, a razor forger, and his wife, Harriet. He was a razor blade striker during the First World War. In 1951, Forster’s advertised in International Cutler as ‘electro-platers to the trade’....
