This cutlery and electro-plate manufacturer was launched as part of Sheffield Steel Products Ltd in 1920. The latter was a conglomerate, which had been organised by A. H. Wild. Little further is known about the origins of Eagle Plate, though it may have evolved from Chaucer Plating Co at Clough Road.
