Enos Dewsnap (1816-1910) was trained as a razor smith – the same job as his father, Thomas. In 1841, he lived with parents and his brother (Charles) in Trippet Lane. Enos joined the Mechanics’ Institution, which awarded him a prize in 1836. In 1845, he married at East Parade Chapel, Leeds, Mary Lucy Harrison (the daughter of an Oakham solicitor).
