We have been unable to trace the maker of this knife.There are 2 people of this name in Sheffield in the early 20th century:- Leonard Burnand, who married Alice Mary Pacey on 3rd April 1915 at Howard Rd Methodist Chapel. His occupation, however, is given as a wire drawer and by 1939 he was living in the Isle of Wight (and still a wire drawer).- Leonard Burnand, born 20 Dec 1869, the grandson of James Burnand.
