The partners were George Cutts (1818-1881) and John Oldale Cutts (1822-1866). Their parents were Joseph Cutts, a silver plater, and Elizabeth. Cutts Bros made electro-plate and Britannia metal wares. In 1854, the first location was in St Mary’s Road; by 1856, the address was Penzance Works, Pond Street. The partnership was dissolved in 1857, when George Cutts started his own business.
