The firm was registered as a private limited company in 1936, with £8,000 capital, and James Andrews and Clarence Cam (1885-1976) as directors. It apparently purchased the assets of Croft Cutlery Forging Co Ltd, Croft Works, John Street, after that firm was liquidated in 1934. Serrated Knives was not a success.
