This silver-plate firm was apparently active between 1809 and 1837. It registered a silver mark in Furnival Street in 1810. Law (2000)1 suggests that one of the partners may have been Mark Furniss, though few details are available on the firm. By 1825, it was listed as Furniss, Poles & Co; and by 1828 as Furniss, Poles, Turner & Furniss. The London partner was A. G.
