Dewsnap Brothers
This firm was a brass and German silver founder and manufacturer of scales, springs, shield, guards, and caps. It was first listed in 1854 under John Dewsnap and James Dewsnap. John was a scale and spring forger, who later joined his brother at 10 St Thomas Street (where James operated a successful case manufactory).
