This branch of the Biggin family lived in Parkwood Springs. Samuel (c.1807-1867), Joshua (c.1810-1873), and John (c.1817-1870) were brothers. They apparently managed the Britannia metal department of James Dixon & Sons. In 1841, Joshua Biggin was living in Harvest Lane. In 1857, he and Samuel registered an ‘improvement’ in the handles of tea and coffee pots. Joshua was later listed as a metal smith, Parkwood Springs, with Samuel as a manager (presumably at Dixon’s).
