The ‘brothers’ were Jehoiada (1802-1864), Thomas (1806-1869), and John Sanderson (1812-1883), who were sons of Thomas Rhodes and his wife, Ellen. They were baptised at Howard Street Independent Chapel. They specialised in silverware and Britannia metal goods: Jehoiada in Bright Street; and Thomas and John at 13 Howard Street.
