Henry Wilkinson was listed as a manufacturer of silver and plated goods in South Street, Park, in 1828. Between 1831 and 1836, he partnered John Roberts (1798-1888), a silversmith and plater, who was his son-in-law. They registered a silver mark in 1831. Roberts later launched the business that became Martin, Hall; but some obscurity surrounds the subsequent activities of Henry Wilkinson.
