This cutlery firm began trading after 1945. The address was Beehive Works at 165 Fitzwilliam Street. The owner listed in Kelly’s Sheffield Directory (1951) was Cyril Parkin (1903-1967). He was the son of Herbert Parkin (1877-1928), who had been a second generation partner in W. H. Parkin & Sons – a bone and celluloid handle manufacturer, also in Fitzwilliam Street.
