Forster & Co
J. G. Forster & Co was apparently listed only once as a cutlery manufacturer in a Sheffield directory: that was in 1925, when its address was 38-40 (back of) Leicester Street. The partners were John Baker Forster (1892-1959) and George Adamson Norman Forster (1895-1976). They had been born at Newsham, Northumberland, the sons of John Forster (a station master) and Mary née Adamson. John Baker was trained as a metallurgist.
