Charles Thomas Bingham (born in London in 1820), a merchant and ‘gentleman’ in Ranmoor, bought the ‘TALLY-HO’ rights from Frederick Fenney, one of the best-known razor makers in Sheffield, on his death in 1852.Bingham operated from Devonshire Street and Eldon Street during the 1850s (though apparently on a lesser scale than his predecessor).
